Women’s Soft Ball Cricket at Ilkley CC
With the growing interest of Women’s Cricket in the local area, we are pleased to report that we have a Women’s Softball Cricket setup now in place at Ilkley CC! Whether you’re new to the sport, or have past-experience of playing, there’s plenty of great reasons to get involved.
Why Join the Ilkley Women’s Softball Cricket?
An opportunity to meet and socialise with other women from the club
A chance to try your hand at a new sport, learn some basic cricket skills and play some games
And most importantly, an opportunity to have some fun!
When is Women’s Softball Cricket?
Training sessions run on Thursday evenings from 6:30pm until around 8:00pm.
Matches for the Ilkley Women’s teams are played primarily on Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Sundays, with fixture dates varying throughout the season.
About Women’s Softball Cricket at Ilkley CC
No equipment required, we will supply everything you need (although we recommend comfortable shoes and clothing!)
Soft ball cricket means NO traditional cricket balls and NO protective equipment required
NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Whether you’ve played cricket before, or never picked up a bat or ball, Women’s Soft Ball Cricket is suitable for women and girls of all ages and all ability levels.
