Four Ilkley Cricket Club lads have been selected to represent the club at district level.

Zac Ayre, Jack Winterbottom and Daniel Quaife have all been selected to represent the Bradford and Calderdale District, whilst Alex Ross has been selected to represent Leeds Schools.

The boys are all bright products of our thriving junior setup and their commitment to the sport has seen them selected to represent their club, and district, at the Under 9's age group.

The excellent coaching that we are lucky to have, which starts with Senior Coaches Mark Ross and Chris Dewhirst, has spread throughout our club, with many senior players and parents helping out across all of our various age groups.

This amazing support is what helps the kids to develop a love for the sport and progress their development enough to catch the eyes of the scouts at a representative level.

This excellent news comes just a few weeks after two of our young stars were selected to represent Yorkshire in their Under 10's age group.

We're confident that the amazing numbers we are experiencing in our current junior setup will continue for many years to come and hopefully we will see many more Ilkley faces making that step up to the next level!
