This is a great achievement and is a stepping stone to the possibility of playing county standard which starts at u10s age group.

There is no county cricket at u9s level but to try and get promising kids ready for it, Yorkshire have broken the County Down to 6 sections (Bradford & Calderdale, North Yorks, Leeds, East Yorkshire, Kirklees and Calderdale and South Yorkshire) who will all play each other over a 5 week period. This is an introduction to proper 30 overs cricket, not pairs so when you are out you are out.
